Experimentation

In these two videos, I filmed myself different trying unfamiliar (and fairly simple) methods to create sound. In the first video, I ran my brother’s Yamaha Reface DX through a gorgeous delay pedal I received as a gift. (Walrus Audio Slo) This created a deep, dreamy texture that sounds almost submerged beneath water.
In the next video, I stumbled upon a youtube video that explained if a glider is placed beneath the strings of the fifteenth fret of a guitar and retuned, it created the sound of a Japanese koto. I did my best to attempt this method but I struggled a bit with the tuning of the ‘koto’, out of sheer concern for my strings. (I would have also tried to run it through the guitar pedal, but I lost one of my cords)
